This is a week of auditions. Unpaid gigs with non union theatre houses. However they are doing prominent shows and they get good attendance out to see their productions. So I have lined up auditions with the intent of getting cast so that I may build my resume and take it one step further with my career.
Challenging, fighting the union just to let me act so that sometime down the line I can get paid. Oxymoronic. However, I am not about to stop doing what I love, and since I don't seem to be moving along I am taking drastic and important measures to change my path.
Doing what it takes to pursue dreams brings dreams to life.
