Off Book (2007-03-21)

Yesterday we did our first off book run. It was scary. Not so much in remembering lines but actually where I need to be on the stage, I do a lot of moving around. It was a bit disappointing for me as well. I could not sink into my characters and find the full rythm of the show; this is of course understandable as I was completely in my head trying to remember everything. Over the next few weeks I start to let that stuff go and just be. Everyone commented that it was solid and ready for the next stage. I trust to their judgment as I am my own worst critic.
